This Black Marlin in Flamingo Costa Rica was caught on a rigged ballyhoo and hooked by 1st mate Jose. Jose just joined us about a month ago and has been a great new addition to our business also, his father Dornaldo will be running the boat when Mr Trigger is not in town. We are in Carrillo January through April and Flamingo through the rest of the year.

Flamingo CR-Capt Jason "Mr Trigger " Coffrin- In the last 7 trips in a time span of about 2 weeks had raised 12 marlin and released 7 one Black about 200lb and the others all in the 200-250 ln range Blue's and Stripe. the release number is low because we have left all stright hooks and are all bait and switch. That's because the Capt loves the bait and switch and its great for the client. As this moon stays dark look for more fish moving in because the abundance of fry bait and bonita in the area. The Yellow fin are moving in as well so we will be looking for some larger Marlin in time to come.
